Airline tickets, books, clothing and accessories, and cosmetics were the
most frequently purchased items online in Indonesia and other
Asia-Pacific countries last year, a recent survey found.
In Indonesia, airline tickets topped the list, with 40 percent of
respondents reporting having purchased tickets online.
This was followed by books (37 percent) and clothing and accessories,
including shoes (21 percent), the executive director for client
solutions at Nielsen Indonesia, Catherine Eddy, said Wednesday.

commercial is becoming widespread, in a trend known as
consumer-generated content. Leave it to
Apple to — paraphrasing the company’s old slogan a bit — think
differently.
A television commercial for
the new iPod Touch from Apple, scheduled to begin running on Sunday, is
being created by the longtime Apple agency, TBWA/Chiat/Day. It is based
on a commercial that an 18-year-old English student — an Apple devotee
named Nick Haley, who says he got his first Macintosh when he was 3 —
created on his own one day last month.

team behind WallStrip, CBS Interactive president Quincy Smith and his
band of Silicon Valley veterans had the media to lunch on Thursday at
Black Rock. His goal: to try to explain the thinking behind a strategy
that drew Web viewers to spend 104 million minutes on the site in
December. Compare that to NBC’s (GE) 62 million or ABC’s (DIS) 28
million minutes.
