Densopol 80HT Marine Tape specially designed for the protection of welded joints on submarine pipelines. The tape will provide corrosion protection to the weld area and withstand the application of hot poured marine mastic as used in laying-barge operations. It consists of a strong synthetic fibre fabric impregnated and coated with a high melting point rubber bitumen compound and laminated to a tough PVC film backing. The Adhesive side is protected by an interleaving which is removed during application. |
